In order to strengthen relations, CEPHAS received a visit from the Director of International Government and Regulatory Engagement, Global External Affairs, USP, Dr. Chaitanya Kudori. In the discussion, Dr. Chaitanya shared to open opportunities for further cooperation. He introduced several USP programs such as drug test method development, excipient testing, USP hospital procurement, USP education and several USP collaborations with several countries in the world.

Prof. Yusi Anggriani, Head of CEPHAS, informed that in the STARmeds study, more than 1200 samples using USP methods have been tested for drug quality. She expressed her gratitude directly for USP’s assistance in providing discounts for the purchase of USP RS through the USP for academic research program. Prof. Yusi also gave a little overview of the results of the STARmeds test which allows further collaboration with USP such as impurities and excipient tests.
